Hello Everyone!
We decided to send our holiday greetings via our website this year. Here is an update on us and we'll put pictures on the links for you.
It has been an eventful year for our family.
Jeff is in his 2nd year of residency in Anesthesia. He still likes it a lot. He is especially pleased to be half done. He is keeping busy in his calling as ward mission leader. He also spends tons of time with the kids and his car magazines.
Charie got pregnant in March and sick again. She and the girls flew to Grandpa and Grandma Shields in California and stayed for a couple of months for help. Although the pregnancy was super tough, everything went fine and baby Tyler was born on October 29th. Charie is just so thankful to not be pregnant and have her healthy baby. Right now, she is the organist and primary chorister at church. She loves going to book club and bunko each month with her friends.
Sierra started Kindergarten this year! She loves to draw pictures of flowers and comes up with different artwork every day to show the family. She has sung solo's this year in sacrament, at the library talent show and most recently at the ward Christmas party. Singing is her favorite thing. Mom is still helping her learn to play the piano. She is starting rock-climbing classes and we hope to climb with her when she gets more experience. She also loves to go swimming at the YMCA.
Tessa turns 3 at the end of this month. One of her big events of the year was breaking her arm at the park. She still likes to tell people about that. The other big event was "getting her baby brud-er." She spends as much time as possible taking care of him. He is her main source of entertainment. Tessa's other favorite thing this year was an amusement park called Lake Compounce. We went once a week with our passes. She loved the rides and water park, but her favorite was the beach at the lake. She still asks to go all the time, even though it's closed for the season.
Tyler is 7 weeks old. He is such a sweet baby and hardly ever cries (what a relief). He is healthy and already gaining lots of weight. He is surrounded by dolls and dress up clothes. His white socks have already been dyed pink in the washer (oops). We're still getting sprayed when changing his diapers. We'll get this boy thing down eventually!
